Apple TV+ has a ‘50s futuristic series in the works called Hello Tomorrow!, and we’ve got a trailer for the Billy Crudup-starring project that lets us know that selling folks lunar timeshares might not be as hunky dory as Crudup’s character, Jack, wants you to believe.

“Remember, we’re not just selling. We’re changing lives.” That’s what Jack says at one point in the trailer, which was released during Apple’s panel at this winter’s Television Critics Association press tour. The clip, however, also suggests how he and the rest of the lunar timeshare sales team may not be changing lives for the better, despite their best intentions.

In the two-minute clip, we see what appears to be some corporate shenanigans (shredding documents is never a great sign that a company in a TV series is on the up-an-up on), Alison Pill’s character burning down her house, and a retro rocketship blasting off to presumably the moon, with others looking on in fear. We also get a glimpse of the stellar ensemble cast, which in addition to Crudup and Pill includes Haneefah Wood, Nicholas Podany, Dewshane Williams, Hank Azaria, Matthew Maher, and Jacki Weaver.

Here’s the show’s official synopsis:

Set in a retro-future world, Hello Tomorrow! centers around a group of traveling salesmen hawking lunar timeshares. Crudup stars as Jack, a salesman of great talent and ambition, whose unshakeable faith in a brighter tomorrow inspires his coworkers, revitalizes his desperate customers, but threatens to leave him dangerously lost in the very dream that sustains him.

The ten-episode, half-hour series is set to make its global debut on Friday, February 17, 2023 on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday through April 7, 2023.
