The Lord of Dreams will walk (on your TV screen) among us again. Yesterday, Netflix finally announced that The Sandman will return for a second season. There are more Endless to meet, and many more stories to tell—and interestingly, the announcement is a little vague about just which stories season two will get into.

It seems a fair guess that the show, which based season one on Preludes and Nocturnes and The Doll’s House, may once again use two Sandman graphic novels for its material; next up are Dream Country and The Season of Mists. But Netflix is keeping everything close to the vest, saying only that the second season will pull from “multiple” Sandman graphic novels.

In a statement, Gaiman said:

“There are some astonishing stories waiting for Morpheus and the rest of them (not to mention more members of the Endless Family to meet). Nobody is going to be happier about this than the Sandman cast and crew: they are the biggest Sandman fans there are. And now it’s time to get back to work. There’s a family meal ahead, after all. And Lucifer is waiting for Morpheus to return to Hell….”

That would be Gwendoline Christie’s Lucifer, waiting—less than patiently, one assumes—for Tom Sturridge’s Morpheus to return; she has a bone to pick with the Lord of Dreams. The first season also starred Boyd Holbrook as the Corinthian, Patton Oswalt as Matthew the raven, Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, Jenna Coleman as Johanna Constantine, David Thewlis as John Dee, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire, Donna Preston as Despair, and many more—though it remains to be seen how many of these characters appear in the continuing story.

The Sandman comes from the minds of Gaiman, Allan Heinberg (who serves as showrunner), and David S. Goyer. No premiere date or production timeline has been announced for season two. But hey! In the meantime, you can change your Netflix profile icon to a Sandman character, should you so desire:
