It was a given that Wednesday would arrive on a Wednesday. But Netflix took its sweet time letting us know exactly which one, teasing only a fall release date—and, of course, the many perks of attending Nevermore Academy, the alma mater of Wednesday Addams’ loving parents, Gomez and Morticia.

Now you can mark your calendars: Wednesday arrives on November 23rd.

Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville) and directed by Tim Burton, Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega (Scream) as the titular Addams daughter, who will likely be quite busy at Nevermore. Here’s the official summary:

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán star as those lovebird parents; Gwendoline Christie is Nevermore headmaster Larissa Weems; Isaac Ordonez is Wednesday’s brother, Pugsley; and beloved ’90s Wednesday Christina Ricci appears as Marilyn Thornhill, whoever that is.

Things get creepy on Netflix on November 23rd. In the meantime, perhaps you’d like to apply to attend Nevermore Academy yourself?
