Revealing Into the Windwracked Wilds by Seanan McGuire, Writing as A. Deborah Baker

Their journey is not yet over; the dangers are no less great…

We’re thrilled to share the cover for Into the Windwracked Wilds, a new Up-and-Under adventure from Seanan McGuire, writing under the pseudonym A. Deborah Baker—available October 25th from Tordotcom Publishing.

Avery and Zib have somehow become friends, despite one being chalk and the other cheese (though in light of the miracles they have already seen, and those they are yet to experience, it is important to clarify that this is idiomatic).

An unfortunate encounter with the Page of Ceaseless Storms thrusts the duo, along with their friends Niamh and the Crow Girl, into the clutches of the Queen of Swords.

They’ll soon discover that an audience with royalty is never easily escaped…

A. DEBORAH BAKER is a pen-name of Seanan McGuire, the author of Middlegame, the Hugo, Nebula, Alex and Locus Award-winning Wayward Children series, the October Daye series, the InCryptid series, and other works. She also writes darker fiction as Mira Grant. Seanan lives in Seattle with her cats, a vast collection of creepy dolls, horror movies, and sufficient books to qualify her as a fire hazard. She won the 2010 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, and in 2013 became the first person to appear five times on the same Hugo ballot.
