Lost Terry Gilliam Animation Found, Commence Rejoicing

Hey! Can you recite every line of Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Well, you have a few new lines to learn, because fourteen wonderfully surreal minutes of animation have been found in the Python vault, and are now available with commentary from Terry Gilliam, on the 40th Anniversary Edition Blu-Ray! Actually, according to Gilliam, “This, in fact, is probably the only reason to buy this blu-ray edition.” Check it out for yourself!

Gilliam also insists that the animation was cut by the envious other members of Python, and that his entire subsequent career as a director has just been an attempt to heal from that wound… so, from those of us who are still holding out hope for The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, thank you, other members of Python!
