Amie Kaufman (These Broken Stars) and Jay Kristoff (The Lotus War Trilogy, Nevernight) are going on tour to mark the release of their new novel Illuminae, out October 20 from Random House! Kaufman describes the YA sci-fi thriller as “Battlestar Galactica meets Ten Things I Hate About You“—the tale of two exes who must put aside their breakup when their planet gets invaded, AIs get mutated, and certain damning data gets located. The first installment of The Illuminae Files is told entirely through a dossier of hacked documents including IM conversations, medical reports, schematics, and more.
