The Sandman: A truly scary bedtime story. Great expressionist backgrounds and lighting. I’d say it’s Tim Burton-esque but it was made before Nightmare Before Christmas. (9 minutes)

Always fun to remember how dark the original fairytales were, such as the Tooth Fairy and the Sandman. Oddly, when watching it, I thought more Bettlejuice than Nightmare Before Christmas. Still, Tim Burton hardly holds a monopoly on Nightmare-scapes.
And the Unicorn chaser was fun. That's happened in my office before too. Silly, fun ideas are catching.

Paul Berry did work as an animator on Nightmare Before Christmas
He was also animator on Truckers (based on Pratchett's book) and also did the visual effects for Monkeybones.
