Artists Illustrate Heroes and Villains

Great Sci-Fi/Fantasy Artists Illustrate Heroes and Villains

Artist rep Richard Solomon is showing off the wares from his stable of science fiction/fantasy artists by collecting images of heroes and villains that they’ve done elsewhere. Above is James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier. Want to see Darth Maul, a colony of Batmans, and more?

Catch the whole gallery on Richard Solomon’s site. (Including a great story illustration from Goni Montes!)

Irene Gallo is the Art Director of Tor Books.

Sadly I always thought Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn were/are the most disappointing Star wars Characters. Darth Maul was one of the most evil looking characters I'd seen, BUT - he was never made evil in the SW1 film. And poor QGJ was made just as lifeless. So what should have been one the most intense Jedi/Sith fights ever became the most musically intense Jedi/Sith fights ever with two boring guys... at least Jar Jar Binks was there as the plucky comic relief guy.

Which can easily be segwayed into - Does anyone know when the Galaxy Quest crew is going to be brought back together for a sequel?
{I think it's time for me to do a Galaxy Quest rewatch}

Back on topic - Great Gallery. Thank you for the blog post.

Have you ever seen the fan film "Sith Apprentice" based on the Trump show? I never knew til seeing it that Darth Maul has basically one line of dialogue in the whole film. "At last we will have our Revenge."
