A Dramatic Reading of John Scalzi’s “The Shadow War of the Night Dragons”

We thought we’d seen everything when John Scalzi’s Tor.com “excerpt” from The Shadow War of the Night Dragons, Book One: The Dead City was nominated for a Hugo Award, but this might take the cake for us. From Mark, of the famed MarkDoesStuff.com (Scalzi explains his beat quite well over on the Whatever for those of you who are curious), we have a dramatic reading of the tale....

Please enjoy! We’ll be watching it on repeat and throwing popcorn at our computer screens.

Luckily I wasn't drinking anything when I watched this or my monitor would now be quite damp. Funniest reactions ever. The profound look of "this guy couldn't have seriously written this???" is priceless.

This guy has probably been put off fantasy forever, but his reactions to the names and the first sentence were absolutely worth it. I was in tears I laughed so hard.
