The First Game of Thrones Season 2 Trailer is Here

HBO has debuted the first trailer for Game of Thrones season 2 and it is absolutely thrilling to see the kinds of trouble our beloved Starks are going to get into. (Even if you’ve read the books already.)

“My name is Daenerys Stormborn. And I will take what is mine!” Chills.

Game of Thrones season 2 debuts on HBO at 9 PM EST on Sunday, April 1.

The trailer featured the comings and goings of a lot more characters from the show. You can check out more screencaps at Westeros. (They start at the second to last row on the page.)

Stubby the Rocket is the mascot of Tor.com and is seriously considering a name change to Stubby Stormborn.

I'm so glad they chose to frame their trailer around Varys and Tyrion's conversation.
