Wait, what? We were supposed to bring the batarangs? Crap. Nobody tells me anything. I left 'em in my other belt. The bat-shark-repellent spray will just have to do.

The real question is, which one of you is Batman and which is Robin. Hmmm???

Talia,

I once met a man who had a problem. Seems every Sunday he would find himself behind a lectern in some storefront church somewhere preaching. Needn't know what to do about it, because of all the stories he'd heard about mental illness and psychiatric treatment. It was getting to the point it was affecting his life and work, with everybody he knew suspecting some sort of drug or alcohol problem. But he couldn't tell them the truth for fear he would lose all that he had.

All because he had an altar ego.

I'm heading down to San Diego too. I get to do one of those giant panels -- talking fantastic Gods, I think.

(I'll have to stop by and say "hello").

I _knew_ you were a fantastic talking god. Even so, you will be unforgiven if you don't stop by and say hello.

I must admit that I liked Unforgiven, but I think I'll stop by anyway. Possibly throw a few tables over. (I need to get a rep).

(Oops. Good point. Mea maxima culpa. Irene and I are friends. Just teasing.)

You might want to note for Comic Con that if people don't remember your booth number and they look at the exhibitor list, Tor is listed under Seven Seas/Tor Books, not individually as Tor.

The booth is pretty close to the middle of the exhibit floor, next to the Wizard booth and bayside from Image Comics.

I'll definitely stop by and say hi!

Just in: It seems that Greg's demo will be a portrait of Hell Boy. An interpretation of the Mignola Hell Boy, not a Perlman portrait. (Not that there's anything wrong with Mr. Perlman. Who didn't love City of Lost Children.)

A number of people have asked me elsewhere so I'll mention it here. We will be tapping the demos and showing at a least a small portion here and on youtube.
