Around the Web: P&P (with zombies), gaming console histories, and Songsmith classics

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies features the original text of Jane Austen’s beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie action.”

Knife Hooks - A great way to disturb house guests.

Immortal Jellyfish Invasion Swarm - “OH JESUS CHRIST NO,” sez Warren Ellis. And he knows.

Worst Commercial Placement ever - BSG spoiler alert!! Huge spoiler for the season premiere, followed by the most inappropriate advert ever.

The histories of 10 essential gaming systems - Makes me nostalgic for my old Intellivision.

Barfing Unicorn - This is what utopia looks like.

Classic hits, reinterpreted by Microsoft’s Songsmith - Bad cover night, and you don’t even need to leave the house!

I watched that BSG episode on Hulu and thus missed that awesome juxtaposition. The Quizno's "It has been confirmed" interstitial will forever hold that place in my heart.

I blogged about Songsmith too today, it's horrible, but amusing.

I don't think the person who wrote that "10 essential gaming systems" article has ever played a video game.
