It’s an Evening Gown Adorned With Books Because You Are Classy and Deserve to Wear Your Library

Now we can be beautiful AND readable!

Clothes designer Sylvie Facon‘s latest creation is a steampunk-themed outfit with a bodice crafted from the spines of old texts. (We are assured that the spines had already long since fallen from their respective books and that, in fact, peeling spines is a very common issue for older books.) We’ll be wearing it out immediately. (Even if we have to walk on stilts to prevent it from dragging on the floor… most of Stubby’s crew is very short.)

The photo comes courtesy of steampunk costumer Morgane E. Grosdemange, who also worked on the outfit with Facon.
