There’s a new teaser for Ahsoka, and at first glance, it seems to be made up entirely of footage we’ve already seen. But this little friend brings the best news of the day in the form of Ahsoka‘s premiere date: August 23rd.

The first full trailer, back in April, was everything a Rebels fan could want: Sabine! Hera! Chopper! And the looming shadow of Thrawn, who, it was later revealed, will be played by Lars Mikkelsen. Mikkelsen voiced the role on Rebels, and is one of the rare voice actors to make the leap to live-action. Most of the crew of the Ghost have been recast: Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger.

Ahsoka picks up the story from the end of Rebels, during which Ezra and Thrawn disappeared. Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) has been hearing rumors of Thrawn’s return, which no doubt gives hope to her and Sabine, who went looking for Ezra and clearly haven’t found him yet. What this all means for the galaxy—presently in its post-Return of the Jedi tumult—remains to be seen, but as The Mandalorian has made clear, there’s always someone ready to pick up the mantle of Empire. Or just of evil.

Star Wars: Ahsoka, which comes from the mind of The Clone Wars‘ Dave Filoni, premieres August 23rd on Disney+.
