We don’t know yet when Good Omens 2 will make its way to Prime Video (although we do know it will be soon, given the streamer has promised the show’s return in summer 2023). What we do know, however, is that the cast will include new and familiar faces, and that two of those new faces will be House of the Dragon’s Ty Tennant (pictured above, who is David Tennant’s son) and the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison (who is David Tennant’s father-in-law).

The Radio Times broke the news, and reports that Tennant’s character’s name is Ennon while Davison’s character is called Alistair. These two are a fun addition to an already delightful cast, led by Aziraphale and Crowley, who are of course played by Michael Sheen and David Tennant (aka Ty’s dad and Peter’s son-in-law) respectively. With the exception of 2013’s The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, this will be the first time the two Tennants have been in the same project together, and although there isn’t a guarantee that they’ll share screentime in Good Omens 2, here’s to hoping!

Davison and the young Tennant also have been on a project together in the past—the aforementioned The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, a special written and directed by Davison that centers on the actors behind previous Doctors invading the Doctor Who set.

Davison and Tennant join Nina Sosyana, Maggie Service, Liz Carr (the angel Saraqael), Quelin Sepulveda (the angel Muriel), Shelley Conn (the new Beelzebub), Siân Phillips, Tim Downie, Pete Firman, Andi Osho, and Alex Norton as newcomers to the cast. Good Omens 2 will also see the return of Miranda Richardson (in a new role), Jon Hamm, Michael McKean, Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith, Niamh Walsh, Doon Mackichan, and Gloria Obianyo.

While we wait for Good Omens 2 to premiere, we can check out the first season on Prime Video.
