Director Josh Ruben last brought the world Werewolves Within, and now he’s got a new kind of terror up his sleeve: In Green Bank, from writer Aaron Horwitz (The Cleansing Hour), a young woman in a town with no radio transmissions finds her employers are not exactly what they seem.

The film is set to star Jasmin Savoy Brown (Scream, Yellowjackets) and She-Hulk herself, Tatiana Maslany (pictured above), who I will follow anywhere, even into the terrifying wilds of small-town horror, thanks to her astonishing work in Orphan Black.

The summary of the film, according to Variety, goes like this: “Green Bank takes place in a real American town where wifi, cell service and all other radio transmissions are heavily forbidden. The film follows infant sleep-trainer Sloan (Brown), who realizes that the parents of the child she’s caring for are much more than the clueless yuppies they seem to be.”

“Heavily” forbidden? Perhaps this should’ve been a sign that things here are not quite… normal.

One might assume that Maslany is one of those more-than-a-clueless-yuppie parents, but the news doesn’t specify. Green Bank doesn’t yet have distribution, but “will be shopped to buyers at this month’s European Film Market at the Berlin Film Festival.” Cross your fingers that it’ll make it to a theater or streaming service near you.
