Editor’s Note: The original post described this Fallout project as the TV adaptation in the works at Prime Video. This is, in fact, another, completely different project called Fallout about survivors stuck in a vault after a nuclear event.

There’s a Fallout feature coming our way (one separate from the Prime Video series based on the eponymous video game that stars Walton Goggins and Ella Purnell ), and we have word on the ensemble cast.

According to Deadline, this Fallout project just wrapped up filming in New Jersey and will star Katie Cassidy (Arrow), Devon Sawa (pictured above in Chucky), Chris Backus (Mindhunter), Kate Bosworth (The Enforcer), and Tyrese Gibson (Fast & The Furious).

We sadly don’t have details yet on who any of these new actors will be playing, but the cast’s performances in previous roles, such as Cassidy’s stint as the Black Canary on Arrow and Sawa’s dual character performance in the first season of SYFY’s Chucky (and, of course, his memorable role in the 2000 film, Final Destination), bode well for the film.

It’s not clear if this Fallout feature is also based on the video game, but similar to the game, it follows the aftermath of a nuclear threat that forces six people into a malfunctioning bunker, where they try to stay alive. There’s a good chance that more than one of the actors above are five of those six people, given the premise of the film.

The script comes from Michael Miceli (The Bounty Hunter) and Cecil Chambers (Awol-72), and was directed by Chambers.

The project is currently looking for a distributor, so no news yet on when we’ll see this Fallout film on the big (or small?) screen.
