What the world needs now is more Nic Cage (among a lot of other things), and the folks over at Lionsgate are fulfilling our Nic Cage needs with the upcoming movie, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

The movie is the definition of meta—it stars Nic Cage as himself, and sees him become entwined with a fanboy (Pedro Pascal) who has gained his massive wealth via illegal means. Cage and Pascal’s characters become buddies until a CIA agent, played by Tiffany Haddish (The Card Counter), recruits Cage to take down his new pal. Check out the new trailer above to get a taste of how things unfold from there.

The trailer also gives us more of some of the impressive supporting cast in the film, including Neil Patrick Harris as Cage’s agent, and Ike Barinholtz as Haddish’s fellow CIA colleague. The movie comes from the mind of Tom Gormican, who is directing the film—his second theatrical endeavor after 2014’s That Awkward Moment, a dating comedy I’ve never heard of that starred Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller. Gormican also co-wrote The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent with Kevin Etten, a writer-producer whose previous credits include Desperate Housewives, Scrubs, Workaholics, and Kevin Can F—k Himself.

Nic Cage is producing the movie, because how could he not back a film that stars himself as himself? Fellow producers include Mike Nilon, Kristin Burr, and Kevin Turen, and there’s a healthy roster of costars, including Sharon Horgan, Alessandra Mastronardi, Jacob Scipio, and Lily Sheen.

The movie premieres in theaters on April 22, for those who want to check out Nic Cage being the finest, most meta version of himself.
