Who’s been nominated for a Grammy? It’s been Agatha, all along! That’s right, the catchy tune from Marvel’s WandaVision is getting the recognition it deserves.

The Recording Academy released their 2022 Grammy Award nominations today, and “Agatha All Along,” the song that first entered our earholes in WandaVision’s seventh episode, got a nod for Best Song Written For Visual Media.

The song is about Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), and is a musical reveal that (Warning—spoilers!) Agatha isn’t the friendly neighbor Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) thinks she is, but a centuries-old witch looking to capture Wanda’s power. The song was an unexpected hit for the Marvel Disney+ show and topped the listening charts. Agatha herself was also a popular character, so much show that Marvel created a whole spinoff show for the witch.

“Agatha All Along” faces some tough competition to win the final Grammy. Bo Burnham’s “All Eyes on Me” was also nominated along with “All I Know So Far” from P!nk, “Fight For You” from Judas and the Black Messiah, “Here I Am (Singing My Way Home)” from Respect, and “Speak Now” from One Night in Miami….

We’ll find out how Agatha holds up, however, when the Grammy Awards air on January 31, 2022.
