Q isn’t the only one of Jean-Luc Picard’s nemeses returning to the screen in the second season of Picard. TV Line reports that Annie Wersching has been cast as the Borg Queen, who Picard last came face to face with in 1996’s Star Trek: First Contact. (So it’s been a while.)

Of course, this isn’t Picard‘s first journey into Borg territory; the first season brought back Jeri Ryan’s Seven of Nine and reintroduced Hugh (Jonathan Del Arco), a former Borg drone who was captured and brought aboard the Enterprise in Picard’s time as captain. Their history as former Borg was important to the first season, along with Hugh’s work at the Borg Artifact Research Institute, a tattered Borg cube in Romulan space. Picard’s relationship to the Borg is, to put it too simply, complicated, and it’ll be interesting to see where the series takes that connection next.

Wersching is the third actress to play the Queen, after Alice Krige in First Contact and Susanna Thompson (in Star Trek: Voyager). Her resume includes The Vampire DiariesRunaways, Timeless, and one episode of Star Trek: Enterprise.

But if Wersching doesn’t stick around, we’ve got a strong contender for the next Borg Queen, considering how Freddie Prinze Jr. responded to the news on Twitter:

When someone asked why it’s a dream job, Kanan Jarrus Prinze replied, “It’s the trek bro. It’s the trek.”

Someone get this man a Starfleet uniform already.

No release date has been announced yet for Picard‘s second season, but you can watch a teaser here—and there may be more news during next week’s Star Trek Day.
