Hulu has announced when our favorite big headed villain will be floating onto our screens. Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. series will premiere on May 21st. The release date was accompanied by a brief trailer that gave us another taste of what we can expect from this unconventional comedy.

M.O.D.O.K., leader of the famous Marvel company A.I.M., asks for some moral support from an employee he’s nicknamed CPA Supreme. It’s then that the villain gets some terrible news: they’re bankrupt. M.O.D.O.K. prepares to take out his violent frustrations on the CPA Supreme before being reminded that he still needs that employee to do his taxes.

So, M.O.D.O.K. just blasts a helpless guy at the coffee machine instead. After this funny exchange, he launches an attack, fights a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and spells out exactly why he’s called the mental organism designed only for killing. All of the action is beautifully rendered by a familiar company.

The stop-motion style of the show is all thanks to Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, a company famous for their work on Robot Chicken. Their unique animation is just as colorful as the shows’ cast. Patton Oswalt will star as M.O.D.O.K., Lucifer’s Aimee Garcia will play his wife Jodie, Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Melissa Fumero will play his daughter Melissa and Sonic the Hedgehog’s Ben Schwartz will play his son Lou. They’re just a few of the funny people who will lend their voices to the series.

We’ll get to see the full extent of the voice cast, animation, and if M.O.D.O.K. can overcome bankruptcy when all 10 episodes of the series premiere on May 21st.
