Following the success of Enola Holmes, Netflix is once again headed into Sherlock-adjacent territory with The Irregulars. Inspired by the Baker Street Irregulars, a gaggle of street urchins Sherlock Holmes would sometimes use as spies, The Irregulars cranks up the supernatural and ages up the kids, who are now a group of teens who must, of course, save London from evil.

Creator Tom Bidwell decided to focus his story on Bea (Thaddea Graham) and her  younger sister Jessie (Darci Shaw) partly because Sherlock stories are often very male-dominated. “We set out with that intention, why can’t they go into what is predominantly a man’s world and kick a bit of ass?” Bidwell told Entertainment Weekly. Bidwell took inspirations from Arthur Conan Doyle’s life times as well as his work, pointing out that the author behind the very logical detective was “very interested in the supernatural and seances and mediumship and fairies and all kinds of things.”

Netflix shared a handful of images from the show:

The Irregulars also stars Royce Pierreson (The Witcher) as Watson, Henry Lloyd-Hughes (Killing Eve) as Sherlock Holmes, and Jojo Macari, McKell David, and Harrison Osterfield as Billy, Spike, and Leopold, the other three members of the Irregulars

The series lands on Netflix on March 26th.
