Syfy has released the first teaser trailer for The Expanse Season Three, along with a shiny new release date of April 11th! And it asks: Will our heroes allow their pasts to define them? But here’s what we’re really excited about…since The Magicians are allowed real swears now, will Chrisjen Avasarala’s gloriously dirty mouth finally be allowed its full power?

Season Three should be picking up immediately after the incredibly tense Season Two cliffhanger, with Earth, Mars, and the Belt all vying for control of the solar system, Avasarala and Bobbie in a very tight spot, and Holden his usual tortured, guilt-ridden self…only more so. We can’t wait to see what new wonders the season holds!
The Expanse returns to Syfy for its third season on April 11th at 9:00pm!
