With Marvel’s Runaways premiering in less than a month, Hulu has released another trailer for the series, about a group of teens who discover that their parents are actually supervillains. Unlike the teaser that came out during New York Comic-Con, this trailer gives a much better sense of the season 1 arc—and includes several glimpses of a certain dinosaur!
Actually, Old Lace is just one of the superpowers/inventions/time traveling treats that show up in the trailer. We see Karolina Dean (Virginia Gardner) light up as her true self, while Chase Stein (Gregg Sulkin) tries out his Fistigons. And while Gert Yorkes (Ariela Barer) is wrangling both her genetically-engineered dino friend and her burgeoning mutant sister Molly Hernandez (Allegra Acosta), Nico Minoru (Lyrica Okano) is grappling with the Staff of One. That leaves Alex Wilder (Rhenzy Feliz) as the only Runaway not necessarily inheriting a gadget or power—but then again, he’s always had his smarts.
