There’s a lot going on in the final trailer for the second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things: Will has graduated from coughing up slugs to seeing something giant, monstrous, and very much not in his head; Eleven is channeling Ellen Ripley with her hair and “heeere’s Johnny!”; and all the boys look to be taking a visit, Goonies-style, to the Upside Down.
“It’s Judgment Day, which is why we need as much help as we can get.” Cue the new characters, many of them kids, joining the fight!
That said, this looks to cover a lot of the climactic action in season 2; there will probably be quite a bit of lead-up to whatever this season’s version of the Demogorgon is. Still, it’s not hard to get amped up after watching this trailer:
