Reactor

The nominees for the 2016 Shirley Jackson Award have been announced! Awarded every year in recognition of Shirley Jackson’s legacy, the awards honor exceptional work in the literature of psychological suspense, horror, and dark fantasy. We’re thrilled to announce that two Tor.com Originals (Indrapramit Das’ “Breaking Water” and Stephen Graham Jones’ “The Night Cyclist“) were nominated for Best Novelette, while three Tor.com Publishing titles (The Ballad of Black Tom, The Dream-Quest of Vellitt Boe, and The Warren) are up for Best Novella. Congratulations to all of the nominees!

The 2016 Shirley Jackson Awards will be presented on Sunday, July 16, at Readercon 28.
