The Defenders is coming, and Netflix just told everyone the release date… as subtly as they possibly could.

See the time that the camera freezes on right as Jessica shuts it off? It reads 08:18:20:17. The Defenders will premiere on Netflix on August 18, 2017.

Is Matt Murdock going to spend the entire series fighting bad guys in his old mask and lawyering suit? Because that’s definitely a plus. Poor team looks pretty run down. Guess we’ll have to wait until August to find out why….
