Kelly said:

I’m incredibly excited to be working Ellen Datlow and Tor.com. Gods, Monsters, and the Lucky Peach draws on my experience working for a firm of passionate, dedicated, and overworked restoration ecology consultants, in addition to being a love letter to time travel stories like Connie Willis’ Doomsday Book and John Kessel’s Corrupting Dr. Nice. The wonderful thing about writing time travel stories is that you can design the details of your physics to suit the stories you want to tell. In this case, I wanted to explore how being able to time travel to the past changes the way humans think about the future, and how it changes the way they treat other people.

Kelly Robson’s fiction has appeared in Asimov’s Science Fiction, Tor.com, Clarkesworld Magazine, and several anthologies. Her stories have been included in numerous year’s best anthologies.

Kelly grew up in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. From 2008 to 2012, she was the wine columnist for Chatelaine, Canada’s largest women’s magazine. After many years in Vancouver, she and her wife, fellow SF writer A.M. Dellamonica, now live in Toronto.

Gods, Monsters and the Lucky Peach will be published in trade paperback and ebook formats in 2018.
