Charlie Jane Anders All the Birds in the Sky TEDx Talk

The International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts has honored Charlie Jane Anders with the 2017 Crawford Award for her debut novel All the Birds in the Sky. Presented annually, the Crawford Award recognizes an author’s first book of fantasy fiction. One judge cited the novel’s “humor, the light touch, the swiftness with which the narrative unspools.”

The award will be presented at the 38th International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts taking place March 22-26 in Orlando, Florida. More information about the conference, the award, and the shortlist can be found here.
