Stubby Takes Home Another Stabby!

Reddit’s r/fantasy has announced the winners of the 2016 Best of r/Fantasy Stabby Awards, and we are delighted to announce that Tor.com has won Best Fantasy Site! We are honored to be held in such high regard by such a thoughtful and engaged community of readers and fans. We’re also ready to reenact the “you have my sword” bit from The Fellowship of the Ring, only with Stabbys.

You can read the complete list of winners at r/fantasy, which includes N.K. Jemisin’s “The City Born Great” (which won for Best Short Fiction), plus hours and hours of excellent SFF reading and viewing material among the winners, runners-up, and nominees. We also appreciated that a number of Tor.com articles and series were nominated for Best Related Work: besides Kameron Hurley’s essay collection The Geek Feminist Revolution (published by Tor Books), finalists included Mari Ness’ Disney Read-Watch column, Sarah Gailey’s Women of Harry Potter series, and Mahvesh Murad and Jared Shurin’s Dragonlance Reread. (Jared and Pornokitsch also received the well-deserved honor of r/Fantasy Best Community Member, along with several other nominations.)

Congratulations to all our fellow Stabby winners, finalists, and nominees!
