  • Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson
  • Halting State by Charles Stross
  • Otherland by Tad Williams

What They Like Most About Ready Player One Is:

I enjoyed RPO because of (a) the massive amount of nostalgia, (b) the fact that it sounds like an awesome video game, (c) and the story was epic and gripping. I like the idea of stories that involve online video games and virtual environments being an integral part to their plot.
