Looks like Spider-Man’s greatest foes are heading over to DC’s expanding universe. Not only is former J. Jonah Jameson actor J.K. Simmons set to become the new Commissioner Gordon, now the DC Cinematic Universe is adding Willem “Green Goblin” Dafoe to the Justice League! DC hasn’t announced who Dafoe will be playing, but they are asserting that he’ll be a good guy this time. He’ll be joining Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, and Gal Gadot’s fantastic Wonder Woman, as well as Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Ezra Miller’s Flash, and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, who are all teaming up to defeat a villain who is probably Darkseid. Justice League: Part One will unleash justice on November 17, 2017, and will be followed by even more justice in Justice League: Part Two on June 14, 2019.

So given all of the characters already assembled, who could Dafoe be playing? Will he be another superperson? Simply a civilian do-gooder? A resurrected Max Schreck, who is actually a real vampire?
