HBO has released the first teaser for Game of Thrones season 6, which debuts on April 24, and it totally doesn’t feature a creepy dungeon full of skinned faces at all.
The teaser shows the Hall of Faces, a chamber that was revealed in season 5, but has only been hinted at in the books. The Hall of Faces stores the faces of dead people, which through some sorcerous means allows the Faceless Men to assume their visages.
We may be seeing some old friends this season. Or watching a lot of folks make the same mistakes that Ned, Robb, Joffrey, et al did. This is Westeros, after all.
