You Don’t Tell Harrison Ford What to Do on Late-Night TV

Harrison Ford Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon tried to coax Harrison Ford into doing a spit-take when he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, but Harrison Ford will not perform whatever cutesy trick late-night TV producers desire. Instead, he took over the segment, with the help of a Han Solo action figure and his own witticisms.

“I’m here just to warm up Adam Driver, right?” he joked, but Fallon insisted that, no, he got chills seeing Ford reprise his role as everyone’s favorite stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herder. Of course, that came at a price, as poor Ford kept getting battered on-set. He demonstrated on the action figure where he hurt himself, and then things just got hilariously weird from there. And look how much he laughed!

“What is it like for you, Harrison Ford, here you are…”

“To be the old man dressed up like Han Solo?”

“Did you get emotional when you put the wardrobe on?”

“No, I got paid.”

Grumpy yet oh-so-entertaining.
