Now We Definitely Want to Live in Space

We just found Robert Heinlein’s dream house! BoingBoing shared this super cool retro collage art by Trash Riot, and our favorite image is the ultimate Modernist space-age home. You can visit TR’s Redbubble page to order a poster or shirt of one of the designs, and check out a few of our favorites below!

Trash Riot’s designs often combine 50s-style pinups with 60s-style space imagery, and the results are eye-popping fun! “Into the Eye” uses this juxtaposition to great, vertiginous effect.

“Free Falling”  is a variation on the same theme, but where “Into the Eye” features a true dive, these kids are poised to cannonball down to Earth, and we love it.

“In a Hot Tub” is a lighthearted take on the terrors of the Nuclear Age:

And finally, we’re assuming “Who Is It?” is a fabulously retro riff on Doctor Who?
