TBWA\Hakuhodo advertising agency has created a fabulous campaign for Suntory Whisky: intricately designed, often geeky, ice cubes are created through a reverse 3D printing process called CNC milling, and almost incidentally splashed with liquor.
The campaign, 3D Rocks, features appearance by everyone from vicious sharks, to Mario, and from the Buddha, to a glowering Batman. Here’s one of the ads, “Astronaut on the Rocks”, complete with a swingin’ reverse 3D printing soundtrack:
