Paul Cornell’s wonderful Witches of Lychford has struck a chord with many of our readers, even though it has been out for less than 2 weeks!

Bastian’s Book Reviews described it as “a beautiful gem… entertaining, fun and well-paced… it’s practically perfect in every way.” Publishers Weekly said, “With clarity and wit, Cornell cleverly juxtaposes the setting of a sleepy English town against the notion of an enchanted land.”

And there have been many more! It’s wonderful to see that the world loves Witches as much as we do. And so it makes it even more pleasing to be able to tell you that when we asked Paul to write a follow-up for us, he said yes!

In fact, he said:

“It’s brilliant to have been given the chance to revisit Lychford. Thanks to everyone who asked if there was going to be more Witches. It’s also brilliant to be part of such a wonderful line of novellas. Hooray for Tor.com!”

And Tor.com Senior Editor Lee Harris said:

“Paul’s a powerhouse of original fiction, and was one of the first people we asked to write for our new line. I’m thrilled that we’re going to be able to continue the adventures of the fine folk who live in Lychford.”

The new (as yet unnamed) book will be published toward the end of 2016.
