Reactor

The nominees for the 2014 Shirley Jackson Award have been announced! Awarded every year in recognition of the legacy of Shirley Jackson, the awards honor exceptional work in the literature of psychological suspense, horror, and dark fantasy. Tor.com is honored to announce that three Tor.com Originals are among the nominees: Mary Rickert’s The Mothers of Voorhisville is nominated in the Novella category, and Kai Ashante Wilson’s “The Devil in America” and Dale Bailey’s “The End of the End of Everything” are up for Best Novelette. Congratulations to all of the nominees!

The 2014 Shirley Jackson Awards will be presented on Sunday, July 12, at Readercon 26.
