Reactor

20th Century Fox and DreamWorks’ newest animated feature Home stars The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons and Rihanna (one of the best parts of Battleship) as an alien and a human who go on something of an intergalactic roadtrip when his race tries to take over her planet.

Parsons plays Oh, a banished member of the overly-confident alien race, the Boov. They plan to take over Earth and relocate its pesky human race without much trouble. But when Oh runs into Tip, a human girl who has evaded capture, they team up to wrest Earth back from the Boovs.

Home is based on Adam Rex’s children’s book The True Meaning of Smekday. The film also includes Steve Martin as the Boov leader and Jennifer Lopez as Tip’s mother—a funny nod to the fact that in the book, Oh (named for his fellow Boov sighing “Oh, not him again” whenever they see him) names himself “J.Lo.”
