A few months ago, Latino Review posted a rumor that Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) would appear in a flashback scene in the upcoming Ant-Man movie. Now, we have a possible confirmation thanks to a recent casting notice.

A few days ago, Project Casting (via ComingSoon.net) posted a call for a stand-in for Atwell. Though take it with the necessary grain of salt, especially when you note that they misspelled her name twice:

Casting directors are looking for an actor to work as a stand-in for the actor Haley Atwell. Haley Attwell [sic] is 31, 5’7 and 112 pounds. She is best known for her work in stage productions such as A View from the Bridge, and in films such as Cassandra’s Dream, The Duchess, The Pillars of the Earth, and Captain America: The First Avenger.

In addition, casting directors are looking for a body double that meets certain requirements.

The scene that Latino Review described is a flashback in which a younger Hank Pym (played in the present by Michael Douglas) meets with several founding members of S.H.I.E.L.D. The group includes Peggy, as well as Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), Armin Zola, and Alexander Pierce (played by Robert Redford in Captain America: The Winter Soldier). Though the fact that the production is allegedly looking for a body double in addition to the stand-in makes one wonder if the scene will be more than just a standard meeting.

No confirmation yet from Atwell. She’s probably too busy beating people up on the Agent Carter set.

Agent Carter premieres in January 2015, while Ant-Man comes to theaters July 17, 2015.
