You know we wouldn’t lie to you, and neither would Idris Elba. (We’re pretty sure he’s incapable, on account of him being so entirely badass.) Turns out there are a few surprising cameos coming up in the Avengers sequel, and these two might be the most exciting so far.
Idris Elba let it slip in an interview with the Telegraph:
“I’m in Avengers,” Elba revealed to The Telegraph. “And I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they’re like, [whispers] – ‘Aren’t you [meant to be] in Ibiza?’”
The reference is to another role that Elba took on, but it inadvertently revealed both his and Hiddleston’s involvement in the film. And we couldn’t be more excited, obviously. It’s not that we need them to have starring roles in every film (though that would also be nice), it’s just great to check in with all of our favorites. And isn’t that exactly what Avengers movies should be for?
Yes. Yes, it is. Throw it all that the wall, Marvel. We’ll cuddle everyone up in a big, squishy hug.
