Peter Capaldi Gets Super Embarrassed About His Doctor Who Fan Club Days, and It’s Wonderful

Betcha thought David Tennant was the biggest Doctor Who fanboy who got to eventually play his idol, huh? It turns out that current Doctor Peter Capaldi can match his predecessor in geekiness, and then some.

On a recent appareance on The Graham Norton Show (which always boasts an amazing roster of celebrity guests and funny bits you don’t see on other talk shows), Norton dug up some dirt on his special guest—namely, Capaldi’s old fanboy letters to the BBC.

Watch the video below to see just how badly Capaldi wanted to be the Doctor Who fan club’s secretary (d’aww), sure, but the very best part is how he literally squirms with embarrassment before Norton reads the letters. So great!

Capaldi is currently rocking it as the on-screen incarnation of the Doctor.
