Supergirl May Hit TV Screens Soon!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Supergirl is getting prepped for a small screen debut! Greg Berlanti (No Ordinary Family, Blindspot) and Ali Adler (Glee, The New Normal) have plans to get her on television…

It would seem that admist a sea of superfellas lighting up television, there are finally plans to have a female superhero helmes property. Berlanti and Adler have teamed with Warner Bros. and DC for the chance to make a Supergirl TV show. This isn’t a guarantee (the Wonder Woman show starring Adrianne Palacki was memorably scrapped a couple years back), but it does mean that there’s a chance for her to be bumping elbows with Flash and Arrow and Daredevil and all the other comic-based properties making their way to television.

DC’s Geoff Johns, producer of Arrow and The Flash is also rumored to be attached to the project. No word on whether they’re aiming for an hour or half hour slot, but it’s an exciting development nonetheless. Who would you like to see in the role?
