Shadows Beneath contains one original piece of short fiction by each of the authors, and is focused on the process of writing. For each story, the book presents transcripts from the brainstorming sessions, previous drafts for comparison, and transcripts of the workshops. Fans of Brandon Sanderson will also be excited to learn that the volume contains “Sixth of the Dusk,” a brand-new Cosmere novella.
