Hey the thing we wanted to happen has happened! Star Wars: Episode VII has cast 12 Years a Slave Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o! Oh, and wait, it gets even cooler—they also added Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie! We’re not just happy because the new Star Wars film has added two awesome women to a heavily male cast, it’s also exciting because Nyong’o and Christie have made some fascinating acting choices over the last few years, and we think they’re going to bring some serious power to the Star Wars universe.

We don’t know yet who they’ll be playing, whether they’ll adhere to the the Light side, or succumb to the power of the Dark, but if we might make a suggestion?

ALL THE LIGHTSABER BATTLES. ALL OF THEM.
