Reactor

The nominees for the 2013 Shirley Jackson Awards have been announced. Awarded every year in recognition of the legacy of Shirley Jackson, the awards honor exceptional work in the literature of psychological suspense, horror, and dark fantasy. Tor.com is honored to announce that Veronica Schanoes’s Tor.com Original Burning Girls is nominated for the Novella category, and that the Tor Books anthology Queen Victoria’s Book of Spells, edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling, is up for Edited Anthology. Congratulations to all the nominees.

This year’s Shirley Jackson Awards will be presented on Sunday, July 13 at Readercon 25. You can see the full list of nominees below the cut.
