Greg Silverman, the Warner Bros. studio production president announced in a recent interview that the film directly following Man of Steel’s Batman/Superman sequel will indeed be a Justice League film.

This certainly isn’t a surprising move, considering that both Wonder Woman and Cyborg are confirmed characters for 2016’s Batman Vs. Superman, but we now know that the Justice League film is being penciled in for 2018. Zack Snyder will direct.

Silverman also said that WB was hoping to produce a Wonder Woman film as well, still citing need for a good script to get the project underway.

This means that a lot is riding on the upcoming Batman and Superman throwdown—the success of that film will definitely determine the future of the Justice League on screen.
