Loki’s Dressed As Captain America—Tom Hiddleston’s Reference Scene from Thor: The Dark World

Here we have a reference take for one of the best scenes in Thor: The Dark World. Which involves Tom Hiddleston dressed in Captain America’s uniform.

Sometimes Monday mornings are just full of presents!

Those of you who have seeen Thor 2 must remember Chris Evan’s surprise cameo as Loki took on Cap’s guise to poke fun at his brother’s new taste in friends. It turns out that in order to make the impression a true impression, they had Hiddleston don the Captain America uniform and do the scene himself—as he told Empire Magazine:

“I did an impression of Loki in the Captain America costume, and did the whole performance, and then they showed Chris [Evans] my performance on tape. It’s him doing an impression of me doing an impression of him, and it’s brilliant. Brilliant. I think it’s great.”

He doesn’t break into an American accent until he gets to the bit about truth, freedom, justice, but that alone is worth price of admission. More importantly, seeing Loki’s hair in combination with that spangly suit is brain-breaking.
