So remember that non-plot-related Thor 2 tag scene? Yeah, that cute one?

So Thor gets out of the bifrost all excited to kiss his favorite lady, Jane Foster. And we’re all cheering because, yay, poor Jane doesn’t have to wait another two years for that reunion and also, finally. But that scene was shot after the principle shooting, and Natalie Portman wasn’t available to fly all the way out to Hemsworth in Hong Kong.
So they dressed Elsa Pataky (Chris Hemsworth’s wife) up in Portman’s wardrobe, slapped a brunette wig on her, and let the two of them make out like proper married people who adore each other.
Ahh, why is the world such a beautiful place? We need to go back and see the movie again, just so we can coo audibly and annoy other people in the theater.
