David Tennant Introduces Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, Shares Glitter Effect With Us

Resplendent with sad jazz music playing in the background, David Tennant is here to give us the gloomier side of the 50th Anniversary—it’s cut budget.

This little gag intro is just flipping adorable. Let him show you a wash bin and a stuffed rat. You day will be brighter for his frowny face.

We’re particular fans of the brand new “glitter effect” that they are employing this time around. No idea what possessed them to film this nugget, but it’s made our day for sure.
